I never said you shouldn’t be angry. Nor did I say you shouldn’t act. My point is that when your thinking and actions come from a place in which you’ve de-humanized the “other”, then your actions will produce solutions that don’t really make things better. The reason “they”

do not suffer in same kind, nor to the same extent, as those whose lives they exploit and snuff out at a whim

And the reason they do exploit and snuff out is because they have de-humanized the less fortunate. Yes, we should strive for equality and justice, but we must be careful not to become like those we seek to bring into the light.
