Jacob’s journey began after getting a job and teaching his friend Sam Williams how to land one. Soon thereafter word spread quickly and without any strategic or business elements, Sam & Jacob helped over 25 of their peers get jobs working in the surrounding neighborhoods of NYC. Sam quickly started earning $600 a week by working 20 hours a week after school in a restaurant. This success story sparked the founding of “Work for Love,” a nonprofit dedicated to equipping students with the skills and opportunities to thrive in the workforce. A key question Work for Love asks, “what would the impact be if we took this model, added some strategy and multiplied by 10,000?”
