(Dear reader, this story is linked to the main story, please see HERE)

Dear beloved community,

Another month, another distribution. Even in times of high volatility (fluctuations in prices) and a lot of fear from most of the market participants, we just did our job and deliver our contribution for a better world.

As you of course all know, the project “Adopt a Family” base on three columns:
- Monthly support for adopted families
- Monthly food distribution in one social institution
- Education about use of Cryptocurrencies

September is already gone and October is here. In the very last days of September we had a visit in a child care center in Caracas/Venezuela named “Fundana”.
Please feel welcome to see a story in pictures and see us doing our job, you made possible with your donations in Bananos and NANOS ❤

As I started the article about volatility, this time our project unfortunately was affected as well as the whole market. The very good fact, our campaign’s goal of 40.000 Banano (~ 30 USD at this time) was full filed and we are very very happy about this. A big thank you to all donors for your amazing support.
Unfortunately the last months we started struggling with the regular (weekly) payments for our three adopted families. I personally am very thankful that we were able to support three families and the monthly distributions for that long time simultaneously. Now it seems the overall market situation got us as well..

Ok, enough with sob-strories, let’s concentrate on the facts!
We are with you, our beloved and amazing Banano and NANO community. You are the mayor part of this project, and we are sure, all we already achieved together was just the beginning. 2020 is in front of us and the fundamentals of NANO, Banano and this project were’nt never been this strong before.

In this September 2019 distribution we’ve been to a place called “Fundana” and is the home to 57 kids. We got initially in touch with per E-Mail and had a very good feeling, working with them together. The structures of this institution seems pretty clear and kind of strict — but all in favor and protection for the smallest (and cutest) ones in our society — the kids.
A small impression :)

This time our normally served meal changed a bit due to some restrictions. Sandwiches and fruits we our choice of delivering our small ladies and gents a valuable lunch.
But not enough, to make this even a small event of happiness and joy in the life of the “disadvantaged” kids, we brought our three best community members -> our fabulous and hardworking Lilo, our party and games king Sebas and our fun making and reliable Zuylin.

Let’s prepare the ride into a small adventure into an afternoon full of kids, laughter, and sandwiches made by our team:

The sandwiches are made of cheese and ham. We are pretty confident to match the demands and taste of our smallest ones. So let’s rush to the place!

Lilo, Zuylin, Sebas and Homer are exited about an afternoon full of fun
Fun fact: We bought bananas with Bananos — so circle is complete.

After arriving and having a warm welcome of all the curios and happy kids the afternoon adventure can begin. Unfortunately we weren’t allowed to take much picture to prevent misuse of information of depicted kids. Totally fine for us, staying safe is the highest priority even in our small organization.

Overall we are convinced this is a good and sheltered place for these kids. We were shown around and found a nice, clean and well organized place with healthy kids. We thank the organization “Fundana” for having us and wish you well and all the best for upcoming times.

Thank you very much for reading this short story and accompanied us for yet another of our monthly food distributions in Caracas/Venezuela. Especially thank you, yes YOU, as part of our community for your donations and being part of this project to bring hope and education to some shaken places in Venezuela, a country infected by hyper inflation. We hope you like our work and will stay in our community for way more to come. Please feel free to follow us on Instagram, Telegram or have a look on our homepage.

Sincerely
Lilo, Zuylin, Sebas, Simón and I.
