What is a dNFT?

Dynamic NFTs (dNFTs) are next-gen smart NFTs used to unlock the full potential of VendettaDAO’s metaverse and games. So far, our developers have engineered two types of dNFTs — characters and horses. As you play, your dNFT records data like XP, shot accuracy, and a variety of other gameplay stats. Each dNFT has a unique set of attributes and can be levelled-up and sold on secondary markets.

What is a character dNFT?

The most vital type of dNFT is the character dNFT (cdNFT). To access the Chalk River Metaverse or any of our games, players must own at least one character dNFT, or rent one through a scholarship program. Your character dNFT appears in your wallet as gorgeous 3D graphic, but its utility goes far beyond a pretty picture. Your cdNFT is your ticket to the Chalk River Metaverse and all of our addictive games. And with each win, with each kill, your stats are recorded. So your NFT improves over time, gaining XP, upgrades, and fame (or infamy). Should you ever decide to sell your dNFT, you will be handsomely rewarded the hours spent gaming.

Attributes

Each Character dNFT has six different attributes that can be levelled up. A basic newly minted dNFT will be level 0 and have basic levels of each attribute. As players earn XP they can choose which attributes they want to allocate their acquired XP points towards and save them to the dNFT.

• Speed — This affects the movement of your character not only in walking and running but also in how quickly they draw their weapon.
• Accuracy — This increases the size of the crosshairs and the ability to target an adversary.
• Strength — This increase the health and stamina bar of your character allowing it to take more damage.
• Luck — This increases the percentage of random bullets causing less damage to your character.
• Bravery — This affects the calmness of your character while under fire, and as the character takes on more damage.
• Regeneration — This affects the speed at which your character heals and regains health.

Stats

Character dNFTs can record a number of vital stats that are accrued as you play the game.

• Shot Accuracy — The number of shots fired vs. the number of shots hitting targets or enemies
• Average Draw Speed — The time it takes the player to shoot and hit targets or enemies
• Number of Kills
• Number of Deaths
• Number of Shootouts
• Shootout Win/Loss percentage
• Fastest Gun Ranking
• Notoriety Level
• Current Bounty
• Bounties Collected
• Total Bounty Value Collected
• Wins/Losses % of each Vendetta Game
• Current League and Ranking
• Achievements
• Chapters Completed
• Mint Date
• Record of Wallet holders

dNFT Selection and Usage

When you log in to your Vendetta Games Account and connect your wallet, you can view your collection of character and horse smart NFTs in the “Inventory Page”. Once you have selected your character, you can view its attributes, XP and stats. As you participates in the Vendetta Games and Chalk River Metaverse, your XP and stats will be saved to your Vendetta Games Account. When you log out, close the game, or select a new dNFT, the updated XP and stats will be saved on-chain to the NFT.
