THE GAME OF LIFE
“Aah! 10th time again he killed me!!, am gonna try one more time”, this was my friend shouting while playing mini militia-an arcade mobile game. Fortunate that he uttered those words and because of those words I understood life. Probably you are wondering, whats the big deal about it?
To make it understand, let me take you on a small journey about this game. Its a shooting game where you need health, gas and weapons to win it. Better the weapons, better is your chances of survival.

Now let’s shift to the other end of the world. As per ancient mythology, when we die, our soul moves out of the body. What remains is a piece of flesh in process of decaying. So this literally means we the souls never die, we just move in and out of bodies and there is no end for this cycle. Being said that, let’s combine both the worlds. We are just a player in this reality game called life. When we are born here, we get a body. Let’s relate this to that game where you get a character with which you will play the entire game. When the character dies, game is over and you get another character to play again. You need good physical health(health pack), stable mental health(gas pack) and rich thoughts(weapons) to play a better game. We all know we need those three for a happy life but here is the catch. When we lose a game do we cry? Or do we worry? Or do we lock ourselves in the room and die? No!!!! We shout it with enthusiasm stating, I will play one more time!!!! If we could connect this to our real game called life will our failures matter anymore? Wouldn’t we bounce back with a fighting spirit. Not just failures. Do you realise those moments you practiced a video game so many times just because you were desperate to beat the top score. Wouldn’t you do the same with this game called life, just to get better at what you are doing. Where you practice your skills for hours to make yourself better at it. Can you imagine those moments when you start playing the game just for the joy of it and not for the scores anymore . How awesome would your life turn if the Same happens with your game called life where you start to do things for the joy of it and not for the money anymore. Probably our life will turn better if we realize this simple fact that everything here is a game and it will end one day and let’s enjoy and give the best we can. So let’s stop wasting time worrying, complaining and brooding over things. Just remember at any point of time you can change your game. Play well.
