What it is to be a “Jack of all trades”?

Source:tech.co

Wikipedia.org defines the term as :-

“Jack of all trades, master of none” is a figure of speech used in reference to a person that is competent with many skills, but spends so much time learning each new skill that they cannot become an expert in any particular one.
To be a jack of all trades doesn’t satisfy oneself.

You can do everything moderately , but not at a level where you could use that ability to affect other people’s lives , or to change yours.

You wouldn’t be hired (with a good pay) for something you can do moderately well.
You wouldn’t be able to make it into the basketball or cricket or badminton team .
You wouldn’t be able to paint pictures that could move people’s hearts.
You wouldn’t be able to sing songs that would make others’ hearts melt.
You wouldn’t be able to cook dishes that would make your friends/family insist you to make it again and again.

BUT you would be able to do all the things above.

While someone could make it into the sports team , you would be able to play the game for your fun with your friends.
While the painter earns millions from his masterpiece , you would be able to make a fine greeting card for your lover.
While the pop singer gets the shouts from the crowds , you would be able to impress your children by your voice.
While the chef earns praise by rich executives , you would be able to earn love from your friends.

You would be able to do ALL the things above.

Being a jack of all trades doesn’t satisfy oneself.
Or does it?
