Women leads to cricket empowerment.
There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish- Michelle Obama.
The game which is worship in India..”Cricket”, was introduced to India by an European merchant sailors in the 18th century. In its first fifty years of international cricket, India was one of the most weaker teams,as their percentage of win was at bottom.
India since, from her independence..made her first ever test victory came against England,at madras in 1952, thus from 1932 India had to wait until 1952, almost two decades for its first Test victory.
Since it was a remarkable first ever win by an Independent Indian cricket team, and since then India in the game of cricket..made a slow and steady progress.
With the passage of time…she develop her capacity and established herself as a dominant player in the world of
cricket. Today, she is ranked not only the world no.1 test team and no.3 one day team {men} she has also conquered the over all trophy on the
Pitch of cricket.
The field of cricket since time immemorial has been the domain of male
chauvinism. But no one had ever thought that why always sons?why always a boy?why always a man??.Since independence or even before cricket in India is solemnly linked with a men. “A game of men”.
A change in this ‘gender stereotyping’ in sports arena came with..
The pitch of cricket allowed the enrollment of women of India consisting of 15 women as a team,as a player with cricket uniform in the year 1973.
In 1976,after playing with the team of west indies no one could ever think in his dream too..that one day the women cricket team of India will make its place in the ICC world cup 2017 final.
Within 44 years of its making the women cricket team has now started re-defining the meaning of cricket to the world.
With their hard work and passion this women’s team now revitalising the basic definition and role of women in sports their work..and their potential.
So..it has rightly been said..”if a women make herself away from the feeling of doubtfulness she wl become lord shiva”.and can do everything which a man can do.
And now these “women in blue” has started innovating the new essence of cricket not only at their home, state or nation,by their victory..but also providing a new life to the status of Indian women cricket team, all around the world.Specially with the win over Australia last night in any ICC league. And now, they started empowering Indian cricket.
Thus, the women cricket team made the statement of Eleanor Roosevelt come true..that.”A woman is like a tea bag – you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water”.
Million wishes with..you..”women in blue..all..good..luck..for..tomorrow’s match.
