Dimitar and Roman with Mariya Gabriel, Member of the EC in charge of Digital Economy and Society.

Vernam’s Co-founders Roman Angelov and Dimitar Mitrev were special guests on #DigitalDay2018 — a one-day event that brought together high-level stakeholders in the fields of digital technology and telecommunication. The event was organised by the European Commission under the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

After the event Roman shared his opinion on #DigitalDay2018:

“I was proud to take part in great talks and moves on #DigitalDay2018. All European countries signed contracts for joint development of Blockchain and Artificial intelligence.

In 2021 EU will dedicate 1% of the total budget for development of blockchain, AI, Computing power and connectivity.

In 2019 Germany and France will spend 1.5B euro for AI. Netherlands, France, Estonia, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, UK, Poland, Spain and Finland already use Blockchain in public projects. EU already been taken decision for support of ICO and Blockchain projects.

Great times for blockchain enthusiasts in Europe!”

Later that week Roman was invited to a panel discussing the future of AI, blockchain and insurance on the 6th Coface risk conference in Sofia Tech Park.

This week we will announce more events on which everyone will be able to meet the team and discuss the future of insurance and blockchain.

Are you ready to join the revolution? We’d love your support and can’t wait to welcome you to the team.
