Why I’m disappointed with Firebase Analytics

When Firebase analytics was announced by Google — it seemed very interesting — additional events, funnels, notifications. But a closer look reveals a tool — that needs a lot of work — to be the go-to-tool for analytics.

I guess it’s too much to expect from a free version when premium tools cost a bomb.

Here’s a couple of reasons i’m disappointed with Firebase.

However if you’ve newly built an app — firebase offers some advantages — there’s no sampling so you can get an accurate count of events and users. The inbuilt notifications can be a light-weight replacement for a full push tool.
