(And no, this isn’t an actual photo from the movie. It is a photo of a building that VAGUELY resembles the house in the movie)

All right, so most of you folks might know that I generally write horror.

Ghost stories, in particular.

So just tonight I watched A SAVANNAH HAUNTING (2021) on Amazon Prime.

It was the usual haunted house movie.

You know the drill.

A family decides, for whatever reason, that they need to uproot their household and move to a house in the country.

Now I’m not talking ANY kind of house.

I’m talking about the kind of country house that would make Herman and Lily Munster turn green with envy.

Gables, give us some gables. A tower and a small colony of bats. A nearby graveyard, some howling wolves, cracked windows, that sort of thing.

Spiders are great as well.

Maybe some flies and maggots, if for nothing else than to keep the spiders well-fed.
