Once again people have knee jerk reactions based on emotions. Should every Confederate monument remain, probaly not. However, getting rid of the statues doesn’t erase the history.

This, as the article states, just makes it much harder of simple things like bridges to be changed.

People shouldn’t have to be constantly reminded of the dark past, nor should they totally ignore it.
