Reflection

I’ve been to the National Museum before and didn’t enjoy it that much. I’m not artistic or anything so I just simply glance ad walked past the paintings before when I was young. But now, ever since taking Aesthet, i learned to appreciate art and i guess that is the purpose of this course. I realized that art is so broad and that art is truly everything. In the national museum, art varies from paintings, sketches, sculptures, memorabilias and even unfinished paintings are appreciated. But the most important of all is the meaning those artworks convey. for some, a picture could be subjective in meaning to each individual but some paintings are really meant to state a meaning. Art captures our daily lives, heroes, food and especially histories. I am glad that I had the chance to visit the National Museum again and really understands and appreciate the artworks and the artists.
