Veron and LienVietPostBank partner to connect Korean and Vietnamese market on Veron’s platform
The Veron platform will enable Real-time Foreign Currency Exchange and Overseas Remittance Services
November 5th 2019. LienVietPostBank and Veron Co., Ltd. officially announced their partnership to connect the Vietnamese and Korean market on the Veron platform.
Yoshimi Takahashi, CEO and Chairman of Veron, emphasized that the business agreement was made to bring to market real-time, foreign currency exchange and overseas remittance services through Veron’s products and services, linking the Korean and Vietnamese markets on its platform. In addition, the agreement concluded that both parties are to open personal and business accounts for overseas customers.
“Through the establishment and launch of Veron’s cryptocurrency exchange and foreign exchange remittance service through Veron’s token, VREX, both Korean and Vietnamese users will be able to open LienVietPostBank accounts through a simple account opening process.” — Yoshimi Takahashi, CEO and Chairman of Veron.
The foreign currency exchange and overseas remittance services to domestic bank accounts will become available for mass market through Veron’s platform, exchange, mobile app, and wallet.
The largest bank in Vietnam with 5,600 branches nationwide, including the national Vietnam Post Office, is also known as Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank.
Nguyen Minh Tan, CEO of LienVietPostBank, said that by this business agreement, Veron will be able to provide real-time Korean KRW and Vietnam’s VND exchange and remittance services for up to USD 100 million per month, expressing great confidence in the commercialization of the services.
MOU signing ceremony
On October 25th of 2019, LienVietPostBank and Veron entered into the cooperative business agreement with a MOU signing ceremony at the LienVietPostBank headquarter in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
