If you’re worried about the rise of abortion bans we’re seeing in the United States, you’re not alone.

And you’re not helpless, either.

Even if you don’t live in one of the states that has passed a restrictive abortion ban, here are 5 ways you can help support reproductive rights for women.

  1. Donate

Organizations like the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and NARAL have received regular influxes of cash under the Trump administration, but they’re not the only ones in need of donations. Look to local organizations that are doing the work on the ground in Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio and more.

The American public has yet to see a full sentence from the Mueller report.

We don’t know what’s in it. One of the few things we do know is that it explicitly ‘does not exonerate’ the president of at least one crime.

That’s where we are right now.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller finished his two-year investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, the Trump campaign, and whether Trump committed obstruction of justice in trying to shut down that investigation.

He delivered a confidential report of his findings to Attorney General William Barr, and since then, he’s already been photographed…

The following is the full video and a full transcript of Rep. Adam Schiff’s interview with NowThis on March 7, 2019 in DC.

Versha Sharma, NowThis senior correspondent: Congressman, thank you so much for being with us today.

Rep. Adam Schiff: My pleasure.

Versha Sharma: Now, you just introduced a new act regarding presidential pardons today. Can you tell us what this legislation is?

Rep. Adam Schiff: Sure. We introduced a bill to deter the abuse of the pardon power. We can’t by statute change the Constitution, but we can discourage a president from abusing its provisions. What this…

At the 2017 Edinburgh International TV Festival, I was part of a panel Channel 4 News assembled on fake news. It was a good group, made up of senior execs from CNN and BBC as well as a British Conservative Member of Parliament—we talked about everything from how CNN handles Trump’s direct assaults to how governments might help or hinder regulations on fake news, and how digital disruptors like NowThis fit into the media landscape. Here are the highlights:

Moderator: Channel 4’s Krishnan Guru-Murthy; panelists from left to right: Tony Maddox, executive vice president managing director CNN International; me

I’ve suffered from depression and anxiety most of my adult life. It’s not easy to talk about. But women like Carrie Fisher made it a hell of a lot easier.

Carrie was a lot of things: a princess, a general, a rebel, a star. On the big screen, she loomed larger than life, a total badass who talked back to Darth Vader without fear. For young girls not used to seeing women take starring roles in sci-fi or fantasy epics, fighting the bad guys, she was incredibly refreshing. …

Season 9, Episode 1: “The Magician’s Apprentice”

1. THE PLOT. I’ve watched it three times already. There are only two episodes from season 8 that I’ve seen more than once. Seasons 1–7? Seen them all multiple times over. And I don’t believe it has to do with Capaldi — though he says himself he feels like he has yet to nail the role of The Doctor, I believe it’s the writing. He’s a very watchable Doctor. But rarely have the plot elements and character development all been aligned with The Doctor and Clara. Which brings us to…

2. Missy. The…

This is how I feel.

To be clear: there are no photos of him with women in saris or next to Hindu priests because those were the requests made when he attended fundraisers with doctors in central Louisiana, or events with local Indian and Indian-American communities in the state. Members of my family voted for him the first time around (I didn’t), putting their hopes in him and hoping to make history.

But we weren’t the only ones hearing the requests to not be seen as publicly Indian. A family friend told The Washington Post she was asked to…
