Cory Doctorow is a Canadian-British blogger, journalist, and science fiction author who serves as co-editor of the blog Boing Boing. He is an activist in focour of liberalizing copyright laws and a proponent of the Creative Commons organization. He earns three times Locus Award. Some common themes of his work include digital rights management, file sharing, Disney, and post-scarcity economics.

George Raymond Richard Martin is an American author and screenwriter of fantasy, horror, and science fiction. He is best known for his A Song of Ice and Fire series of bestselling epic fantasy novels, which has recently been adapted into Game of Thrones, an ongoing dramatic series on HBO. He was selected by TIME magazine as one of the “2011 Time 100,” a list of the “most influential people in the world.” In 2012 he won the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement.
