Hello Everyone,

First off, we are thrilled to see such a positive response to our burn back program and thank all of you for your candid feedback in helping to shape it.

We are pleased to announce that we have finished the final phase of the audit. We are very close to distributing coins inside of the structure mentioned in our last post.

An important update for all MyEtherWallet (MEW) users. We have an updated token address as a result of this audit which you will need to create a new Custom Token for. You will receive your tokens in the same wallet as you purchased VZT with but they may not show up until you follow these steps:

  • Go to MyEtherWallet.com and click ‘View Wallet Info’
  • Click the ‘Add Custom Token’ button
  • You should be prompted to enter 3 pieces of information, the Address, Token Symbol, and Decimals.

Enter the following pieces of information into the appropriate fields:

  • Enter 0x9720b467a710382A232a32F540bDCed7d662a10B in the ‘Address’ field
  • Enter VZT for in the ‘Token Symbol’ field
  • Enter 18 for the ‘Decimals’ field

Our Round 1 Crowdsale participants (Sep 27–28th) will receive this new token in lieu of the original which will have no further value. All other participants will be issued this token on distribution date. Mist/Parity users will see this token immediately but MEW users will not until 0x9720b467a710382A232a32F540bDCed7d662a10B is added to their Custom Token.

We have also released this new token code on Etherscan: https://etherscan.io/address/0x9720b467a710382A232a32F540bDCed7d662a10B#code

This addresses several key issues:

  1. Better interoperability for lock up contracts and burnback
  2. More security oversight in light of the Parity issues. We did not discover any similar vulnerabilities in our original token but decided to implement better controls regardless
  3. More advanced features for Song Token management in the VZT Royalties Management Platform.
  4. Stronger controls for business administration of ISOs

Additionally, we are pleased to announce that we have signed paperwork with one Exchange and are currently in active negotiation with several others.

We will be moving forward with distribution once our listing has been processed and will be providing additional information in a new post once we have a listing date finalized. We have been advised against distributing tokens prior to listing on an exchange.

Once we are listed on an exchange we will be able to immediately move forward with our next ISO. We thank you for your patience and are excited for your participation very very soon.
