I completely agree with you. The (over)focus on agile processes and practices nowadays make it feel un-agile. I am much more interested in ‘lowercase’ agile: how can we truly become agile in a team, or rather: a whole organisation — using behaviour, tools and processes of our own choice-which fits the purpose. Agility is about what you’ve described: organisational agility. And the most important take-away: it is a continuous process.
