Much of this repeats my story. I don’t have time to go into it. Separately though, I wanted to mention, besides all the regular stuff that comes with being a 1st generation Italian brought up on the streets of NYC after his Dad died, in the years before his death. He was showing signs of increased aggressiveness, confusion and irritability. Some in-depth tests showed the carotid arteries to his brain were 80–90% occluded (blocked). There was some strong speculation that worsening condition was a major factor for his mental decline.
