Blasphemous is a cloned mixture of “Castlevania” and “Soul’s” series. The result is a mixed title that perfectly captures the best ideas in both game series. Eerie and unique atmosphere carved into a vast and highly detailed map results in a game worthy of multiple playthroughs. On the other hand limited character upgrades, numerous technical and controller issues along with some shallow cut-scenes prevents the game from soaring into the high skies of 2D perfection domain.
