I would give massive tax credits for exercise/gym. I wouldn’t just limit it to traditional gyms either. I would especially incentivize Crossfit and fun physical activities that people actually stick with. The more expensive activity the more people won’t want to miss out by foregoing the credit.

Start with prevention. Exercise is the best medicine and would probably even do more good for the opiate and depression problems.
