Hi everyone! Today I’d like to share with you my first impressions about “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”.

To begin with, I chose this book because it seemed to me the most interesting and exciting. Besides, my whole childhood is connected with “the boy-who-lived”! And now, when I’ve read three chapters of this amazing book, I realize I am not sorry about choosing it.

Ho be honest, I didn’t expect anything new about this book, but each time I found something amazing that I either didn’t notice or understand earlier. So despite the fact I’m aware of the plot, I also know that I will definitely enjoy reading a real English book.

“Harry potter” is full of philosophical themes: friendship, bravery, honor, kindness and much more — you can notice these important topics and even maybe change your mind about some of them. As far as I know (and I’m sure you do too), there’re lots of quotes from the book which still be current. My favorite is this one.

These great words often reminds me of “the light” — people’s the most valuable qualities such as justice, kindness, politeness and strength. We can go through all difficulties if we only remember to stay strong and good people. Harry was strong and never forgot about his parents’ and friends’ love and support. He chose the right way, and despite lots of losses and troubles he managed to become happy.

I still remember that moment, when he is sitting on the windowsill, waiting for his birthday and counting seconds before the day he’s eleven. He is counting not even realizing that just in a few seconds his life will be completely changed. This is my favorite scene. This is the beginning of Harry’s adventures.

To sum up, this book is breathtakingly interesting and it isn’t the last time when I talk about it. :)

See you later! Bye!
