Amazing article. And perfect timing. When I was little, my best friend and I did a lot of art (mainly drawing), but she was steps ahead of me, or at least that’s what everyone said. In high school, as much as I wanted to be in art class, I didn’t join. Then I grew up . . . and realized I have this creative gene that won’t sit still. I’ve tried many types of art and just recently started drawing. For the first time, I feel like I am home. Ironically, I don’t think my friend does art at all anymore. Funny how life works out, isn’t it? Thanks for the encouraging article. I will not give up.
