After one Georgia gun lover wanted to build his own machine gun, the NRA got its worst defeat ever
Stephanie Buck

“At the time of the 2nd amendment the Nation still observed self-defense as a sacred right already owned by every person, and the term “Militia” means any able bodied male, literally that is what the term means. The radical left want to apply a meaning to the term “Militia” different from what it meant at the time it was written.

The word ‘militia’ has two meanings. Yours, and ‘a body of citizens enrolled for military service, and called out periodically for drill but serving full time only in emergencies.’

So, in this situation, right wing people choose the first meaning of the word, while left-wing people choose the second meaning.

To avoid an eternity of arguments, the Court should first decide which meaning is the only one to be used.
