Your lack of knowledge of the gay/lesbian experience is understandable if you’ve never met one. I do and am the father of a lesbian.

From what I’ve been told and have lived, it’s not easy “coming out”. Many homosexuals experiment, hoping they aren’t, since, although it’s legal, it’s still a declaration of being out of the mainstream; of being — to some — abnormal. Some are bisexual. There's a wide range of sexuality and society has quite rightly determined that only pedophilia is criminal.

As for you assertions of an aggressive Left; that’s a gate that swings both ways. For example, consider the contention that The Right found a way to criminalize being black — and treated the resultant turmoil as a ‘Law and Order’/incarceration matter?

I think you’d agree that the ‘Progressive’ agenda, though not perfect, is responsible for ALL the social advances of the last 40 years. It wasn’t The Right that legalized interracial marriage, sponsored the Civil Rights Act, initiated Medicaid, etc., etc.

Finally, is there nothing in her article you found valid? Whatever her hyperbole, in my opinion she’s ‘nailed’ the vacuity and immaturity of a public Rightwing poseur and his Posse - and how that has brought him down. Thoughts?
