Facebook did not change Trump’s Facebook page title from ‘President’ to ‘Political Candidate’

There are several media sources that claim that Facebook changed Trump’s official facebook page title from ‘President’ to ‘Political Candidate’ in order to prompt Trump supporters to quit Facebook. Below are links to two from Outsider.com and Hannity.com:

The use of a web archive tool called the Internet Archive Wayback machine as well as looking at his Facebook page today proves that this is not the case. His Facebook page still says “45th President of the United States” today in it’s subtitle/description, and the page was always classified as “Political Candidate — Politician,” well before the November 2020 U.S. Presidential election.
