BODY ODOUR
The weather condition isn’t really friendly here in Lagos lately which is normal, but here is the problem: some people go around smelling and disturbing people in public spaces.
It has been scorching lately which makes people sweat profusely but I don’t think the weather condition is reason enough to smell. The ones that smell the most have no idea they do which makes it more alarming. They go around with their head high, hugging people without fear.
How come you don’t know you smell this bad? Don’t you have an active nose? Is this how others smell? (If yes, then you need to change your circle). Do you know what deodorant is? Or it’s against your religion and believe?
I will say this, people that go around with body odour without being aware of it do not love themselves, they have no self awareness or they were most likely raised in dirt. If you love yourself enough, When you smell differently or unpleasantly you would definitely know. I can smell myself and know when things ain’t right, that’s what self awareness is. You wouldn’t go around smelling if you care enough about your body and health except you have a health condition and if that’s the case, please see a health practitioner.
I believe people with body odour are lazy and selfish. If I have to take my time to smell nice enough not to go around with body odour but you on the other hand go around discomforting people because of your poor hygiene and nonchalant attitude towards your self, isn’t that selfish? People that share the same space with you suffer and endure unpleasant air because of your poor hygiene and inability to smell nice. Isn’t that selfish? People around you suffer because of your own negligence. Those who speak up become your enemy, other look away and find a way to adapt because they know no matter what they say nothing will change. It’s killing to enter a public bus and you have to hold your breathe because your seat mate sinks like a dead rat or even worse.
Please let take these things serious. There are cheap deodorant you can buy.
How long would we keep suffering in public because of you?
