All the “war on drugs” has done is to fill up our prisons. Which is good for the for-profit prison industry, but not really good for anyone or anything else.

Nobody has suggested ceasing the war against cocaine, crack, or heroin. But a war against marijuana, which is nowhere near as dangerous as cigarettes or alcohol, makes no sense at all.
