And impeachment and conviction SHOULD be tough. Otherwise, we could look forward to a strictly partisan battle similar to the Clinton impeachment every time we got a Congress and a President from different parties.

Requiring a two-thirds majority to convict and remove a President is sensible. Both parties need to agree that a President should be removed, as they did for Nixon.
