By going after the low hanging fruit (immigrants who actually check in at ICE offices and attempt to follow the rules) instead of the criminals, Trump is already making a bigger mess.

Congress allots about $3 billion a year to the ICE. This is generally enough to deport about 300,000 to 400,000 people before running out of money. Obama chose to go after the criminals. Trump just wants to go after the easy pickings so he can brag about how much faster he can get people deported. This is a move that will cause a huge drop in the number of immigrants to do check-ins as word of this gets out, making them much more difficult to track. And apparently you’re content to allow criminal immigrants to stay in this country just because Trump thinks they’re too much trouble to bother dealing with.

How in God’s green earth can you claim that Trump isn’t creating a bigger mess than any administration before him? Oh. Right. Because your god Trump can do no wrong, and being his apologist and defender is your self-assigned job.
