Doing our part to mitigate climate change doesn’t mean we have to give up yachts and airplanes. Are you suggesting that the President of the United States shouldn’t travel anywhere?

If everybody in the country spent all their time cruising around on 450 ft yachts, and if everybody traveled like the President does, we’d have a problem. But very few people have yachts of that caliber, and virtually nobody else travels with Air Force One and a motorcade on the scale that the President does. We can make bigger changes by making changes from fossil fuels to alternative energies, improving our manufacturing footprint, and the like. An occasional yacht outing doesn’t even come close in impact.
