Except that LePage didn’t actually say “shoot people who are dope dealers”. What he said effectively translated to black and Hispanic people being the “enemy” (without making a distinction between those who are actually drug dealers and those who are not), and therefore should be shot.

But let’s pretend for a moment that what he actually said was that drug dealers should be shot. Funny thing — even a drug dealer in this country is entitled to due process under the law.

This is apparently OK with you. You obviously don’t worry about your race fitting a profile that would make you fair game for anyone with a gun — with the approval of the Governor of your state.
