I read that Senator McCain is flying back to Washington so he can vote on the motion to proceed on Tuesday.

I also notice that McCain has supported every incarnation of Senate bill — even though every version of it will wind up stripping health insurance away from millions of Americans. And thousands of Americans will die prematurely as a result.

McCain has just received a horrible diagnosis that nobody should ever have to receive. He is in for a lot of very expensive medical care, which he can afford (even if he wasn’t filthy rich) because he has excellent health insurance. Why does he want to deny that to others?
