I suppose it’s a blessing that he’s recusing himself from cases where he would be biased in his decisions, instead of hearing theses cases and making his decisions solely on the basis of his prejudices.

But since his recusal is long-term and covers a great many potential cases, why doesn’t he just do Kentucky a favor and recuse himself from his job altogether? That would free up a space for a judge who’s willing to do the job he’d be paid for.
