If this is the way legislation is worked out in Texas, I’m glad I don’t live there. At least Washington DC is a bit more civilized — even if not much.
And that’s not even addressing the idea that a reasonable person (even a Republican Senator) might have problems with leaving millions of people without health insurance — a situation that will cause thousands of premature deaths.
But I have this advice for Fahrenhold — be careful whom you pick a gunfight with. Don’t for a moment assume that Senators (including women Senators) are bad shots.
