In the first place, you shouldn’t take ZeroHedge too seriously. They don’t have much in the way of credibility.

In the second place, we aren’t privy to every step of Mueller’s investigation, nor where each step leads. He may have a perfectly legitimate reason for looking into Trump’s financial matters, particularly if they involve any shady activities the Russians are blackmailing him for.

We do expect that when Mueller completes the investigation, he will produce a detailed report of his findings. If he overstepped, that will become known, and will be dealt with.
