It’s not even that they’re moving the goalposts (although that activity alone is dizzying). It’s that each member of the team appears to have their own set of goalposts and they’re all simultaneously moving them randomly all over the field.

If their strategy is “confuse the hell out of everyone”, that might explain their actions. But their actions aren’t congruent with “we did nothing wrong”.
