Personally, I believe political groups should be allowed to run their meetings and conferences as they see fit, without interference from the opposition. After all, we’d probably like to see conservative groups leave Netroots Nation alone. CPAC deserves the same courtesy.

That said, I’m glad that the mischief makers weren’t there to shout anyone down or interrupt their proceedings, but just to pass out some flags. I’m still wondering how many of the attendees truly had no idea what the Russian flag looked like and thought they were just waving a flag supporting Trump, and how many recognized the flag for what it was, and waved it as a protest against Trump, the unfolding Russia scandal, and what that’s doing to their party.
