The reason that you believe fact-checking site have a liberal bias is because facts themselves have a liberal bias.

And I was right — you really don’t know what birtherism is. Let me educate you. Birtherism has to do with deliberately promoting the LIE that President Obama is not a natural born citizen, and therefore ineligible to be President.

Suggesting that Obama is somehow “less American” because he’s black, or has a funny name, or was born in an “exotic” location like Hawaii, or that he’s Muslim simply to pander to xenophobes and Islamophobes is also reprehensible, but A) these have nothing to do with birtherism, and B) nobody associated with the Clinton campaign was the first to push any of these. Those accusations started way back when Obama was running for the Senate.

Why is birtherism different from suggesting that Obama is “less American” or Muslim? Because making those accusations might change a few votes, but they don’t affect eligibility to be President. Birtherism specifically challenges the constitutionality of a candidate to serve as President.

You can claim all you want to that “Hillary was birther numero uno”, but now that you’ve been told the truth, you’re back to being a liar.
