The story will indeed change, and as I read more about Junior’s admission, I’m inclined to think that it’s less deliberate misdirection, and more of an accidental “truth-gaffe” on his part. I have a feeling that what Jr. said is probably true, that he might have really gotten such an offer, but the lawyer who was talking to him was the one lying through her teeth that time. After all, she never delivered the goods. Probably because there were no goods to deliver.

I think that Junior may have blurted out the story as some sort of “evidence” that Hillary was the one getting help from the Russians, and not his dad. However, that doesn’t square up with the fact that it was the Democrats who got hacked and leaked — not Trump. And where’s this damaging evidence this lawyer claimed to have? Junior probably didn’t realize that if he said this to try to help his father, he just made things a lot worse.

Of course, he doesn’t seem to be the brightest bulb on the string.
