Victoria, it is NOT “ OK to allow sexual harassers to keep doing what they do?”

When a woman quits a job due to sexual harassment, she does her sisters who will follow her in that job no favors. That type of behavior is not acceptable, and should not be permitted to continue. However, if a woman simply quits, she’s basically punishing herself for something she didn’t deserve — as well as leaving the monsters who caused her to quit free to continue their behavior.
And if it takes a lawsuit with an expensive payment to make men change their behavior, so be it.
And yes — it IS like a rape case. Not as severe, of course, but there’s that same sense of entitlement on the part of the man, power display on the part of the man, and sense of feeling violated on the part of the woman.
