When the Republican Congress gets serious about actually doing something about Trump — which means impeaching him on multiple grounds that seem to be piling up daily — I’ll believe they are “pulling away” from him. But as long as they are willing to let him get away with all kinds of sh*t with nothing more than a few lukewarm words of admonition, they’re not really pulling away from him. He’s still theirs.
