Let’s start with what happens today.

You forgot the question from the reporter at the beginning. It’s difficult to hear, but the reporter definitely asks, “Should there be a database system that tracks Muslims here in this country?”

And the reporter definitely follows up with, “But that’s something your White House would like to implement?”, and it’s pretty obvious that the reporter is referring to a tracking database for Muslims.

And Trump does indeed say, “Oh, I would certainly implement that.”

It is what it is. Yes, Trump backpedaled later, as he almost always does. But he said what he said. It’s on the video. And that has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not I’m a “hater”. YOU on the other hand, appear to be a Trump fan whatever he does, and you’re willing to employ creative spin to defend him no matter what.

I lived through the Watergate era. There were a lot of pro-Nixon people just like you. And they were creative spinning Nixon’s tapes even after the smoking gun was found. And even after Congressional Republicans could find no reason to back him anymore.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
