So far, I Iiked two quotes from the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird”. The first one is “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view, until you climb into his skin and walk around in it”. (Atticus said that)
I think it is a very true to life phrase, because nowadays people tend to insult and to be rude to others without any reason. They joke and make fun of them just because they are different for instance or just not like everyone in the world. Unfortunately, it is very common in schools when a student can laugh at a boy or a girl because they don’t wear very fancy clothes or don’t have something to show off. But this student doesn’t know their situation. There are so many poor families in modern world and not everybody can afford something that others can afford. And instead of making fun this student better considers things from their perspective or even help if there is a chance and opportunity.
Another quote is “With him, life was routine; without him, life was unbearable”.
So, it’s a phrase about the relationships, of course. This is the type of relationships in which when you are together — you can’t stand each other or you just quickly get bored or it’s okay but t’s not as exciting as it could be. But when you are apart you begin missing your sweetheart, it becomes unbearable to be without them for a long time. In my book, it’s a kind of strange relationship, because when you love someone it’s impossible to get bored. Of course, everyone need some time to be all by themselves from time to time, but to make it a habit and especially in a relationship, it’s nonsense!
