Universal Basic Income will Accelerate Innovation by Reducing Our Fear of Failure
Scott Santens

From someone who lived in a country with UBI, it doesn’t work, period. Not because it kills innovation, but because to give *everyone* a piece of the proverbial “pie” requires money/capital to come from somewhere else. Where’s *that* gonna come from? Everyone on the dole effectively becomes a dependent of the state, and there’s simply not enough private sector money to go around fairly, so those w/ UBI end up getting a pittance, not enough to even live off of. You then have to go sign up for all the other ‘entitlement’ programs for food, housing, etc. etc. Sounds familiar? Yeah, that ‘s because it’s socialism put simply. And we can see how well *that* turned out for all those wonderful regimes throughout the world.
