Before starting to make your homemade creams you should know which results you’d like to achieve. The correct definition of your skin type is the main key in your success .

Here are the 5 easy steps to determine your skin type

  1. Remove your makeup.
  2. Wait for an hour.
  3. Create natural lighting.
  4. Look into the mirror and note all changes on your skin :
  • Pimples, Acne, Redness, Allergy.
  • Enlarged Pores
  • Presence of Wrinkles

5. Dab your face with a tissue on T-zone and with another one on cheeks.

  • There Is A Big Oily Mark
  • There Is A Little Oily Mark
  • There Is No Oily Mark

Different skin profiles

Smooth and Elastic Normal Skin

Normal Skin

The skin looks smooth and elastic, has a mat gloss and shine health. Needs a regular skincare and needs to be moisturized. Usually women with this skin type don’t have any major skincare difficulties.

Oily Skin

The skin has an oily gloss, is covered by pimples and acne. It usually has large pores which sometimes turn into the blackheads. On the other hand the Oily Skin stay young and elastic for a very long period of time. This type of skin needs a regular skincare and purifying. Throughout time the oily skin can turn into normal.

Transparent Dry Skin

Dry Skin

It’s a transparent, thin, tender skin that has a mate gloss. After removing cosmetics the skin needs to be immediately moisturized because it starts to itch. Dry skin doesn’t have acne, but is aging very fast.

Oily T-zone and Normal Skin on Cheeks

Combination Skin

The most common skin type. As a rule it has oily gloss on the forehead, nose and chin (T-zone). The skin on cheeks is more dry and closer to normal. Combination skin needs special care and regular esthetician’s consultation.

Sensitive Skin

This skin is thin, delicate and has very small pores. It the most sensitive to the allergic factors skin type. Unfortunately the sensitive skin has the tendency to start getting old very fast. The first wrinkles usually start to appear around the eyes and the mouth.
