Great article indeed, full of good tips, books and programs to use! I studied a Web design master course where I learned about a broad array of disciplines and always tried to keep up with all, gets overwhelming sometimes! You explained well that sometimes it’s about taking the time to learn one thing at a time. I will definitely try that out.
I would like to add to this Unicorn metaphor: “A unicorn is a good designer who also writes good code”, would you agree?
Also, do you think that in the near or far future, the world will need a Ux/Ui developer? And can one be an expert in all three? 
And what do you prefer/use the most, Sketch or Photoshop? And which do you think will prevail? Looking forward to Project Comet?
