Thanks for such a thought-provoking and insightful read! Very well written, and very well thought-out. I don’t think my answer will do enough justice, but I’ll let it rip anyway.

As a member of the upcoming generation (with “youthful vigour”), I think that, despite the hint of pessimism (which I personally detect in this article), the only way for our global society to be better is for us to first believe that we CAN be better. We, collectively as nations and collectively as a race, have made plenty of mistakes. We’re not perfect; sure, we might have made a lot more mistakes than we should have, but to let that shake our belief is to let doubt begin creeping up on us. To let doubt overcome us leads to the beginning of our end.

Just my personal opinion. Don’t know if I’m being too idealistic or not. But hey, that’s my 2 cents.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
