Dhruv, a very helpful writeup. I felt nodding away for most of it — especially signals and goals becoming overkill. So true! yet this exercise elevates the quality of conversations with stakeholders sometimes and can surprise us. As for Task success — I think you should also account for error, error recovery by the user, room for microcopy, animation, any contextual upstream /downstream needs of a task that can be addressed (e.g . an export/import feature of dataset etc.) These are outside engineering scope and more about the ‘jobs-to-be-done’ from customer perspective.
