Magic Select Feature, the comprehensive guide!

This feature comes in handy at times when you want to remove something from the image such as background, object or a person. This feature is also useful while creating icons with transparent background.

Crop the desired part.

Add or remove an element by selecting the appropriate option and tapping on the specific element.

That’s it, you’ve got your phone screen removed from the frame, now you can convert this cropped image to a sticker or use it in your projects.

You can also make the background transparent by erasing the frame content using the eraser and toggling the transparent canvas option form the canvas menu.

Another major use: Removing watermarks from icons

Suppose, you download an icon from the internet expecting the icon to have a transparent canvas but what it turns out to be is this:

So, what do you do in such cases? Look for another similar one or use this as it is or maybe look for some crappy online tool online. Pretty boring right? Well, all you got to do is use the magic select feature of Paint 3d.

Select the actual icon from the canvas.

Click on the done option when finished editing.

Resize and drag the image to the centre of the canvas.
