Salsa is a vibrant and colorful blend of the latin american and caribbean culture. The actual origin of Salsa dancing is unknown. However, it started thanks to our Cuban and Puerto Rican brothers and sisters who immigrated to the United States. Today, Salsa dancing is considered one of many iconic characteristics of the Caribbean Latin-American culture. It has achieved a global reach, making everyone create their own variation of the art.

Consider yourself a beginner? No problem! Here are some things to keep in mind when you’re going to dance salsa:

  1. Posture makes it elegant! The correct posture is the essential to make your moves look and feel elegant. Plus, it’s a confidence booster.

3. Make it sexy! Don’t be afraid to move your hips and shoulders. Maybe do a little shimmy now and then to add some spice.

4. Don’t go to tight! Put on something flowy and breathable. You’ll be dancing all night and probably will be surrounded by other people dancing. So, it’s better if you wear something comfortable that flows. Plus, you’ll look more professional and effortless, like you know what you’re doing.
